About the Sponsor
As the first class action journal in the United States, Class Action Reports has grown in the last 34 years to become the most respected comprehensive class action journal in the nation. Each bi-monthly issue includes analyses of recent class action decisions in the areas of securities, antitrust, consumer litigation, civil and political rights, mass torts, labor/employment and more. The publication is available both on Westlaw and in print, and offers an extensive selection of case summaries and articles of interest written by experienced class action litigators.
About the Honoree
The foundation of Class Action Reports was laid in 1974 by Beverly C. Moore Jr. when he acquired the publication. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Mr. Moore was employed by consumer advocate Ralph Nader for five years before joining Class Action Reports. His extensive knowledge of class action law and the importance of consumer justice established Class Action Reports as one of the nation's most highly regarded and respected authorities in the field. After thirty years of providing subscribers with a fair, informative approach to analyzing class action law, Mr. Moore passed away in November 2003. In 2006, Class Action Reports was acquired by Thomson West, a Thomson Reuters business. We are proud to continue the tradition of this high-quality publication.
