The Online Key Number outline on is accessed by clicking the More pull-down list in the upper-right corner of the westlaw.com screen. Click Site Map at the top of the screen. Click Key Number Digest (Custom Digest) under Search Westlaw. Click the plus symbol (+) next to a specific topic to view an outline of that topic and locate key numbers to assist you in your research. Then check the Key Number(s) that seem most relevant and click the Search selected button in the lower left corner of the screen. A Custom Digest screen will be displayed which will allow you to run a search for that Key Number(s) in the database you choose.
